Approval
Most home refurbishments fall within permitted development unless there is a need for structural works that change the build’s envelope. Should planning permission be required, we will advise you on how to obtain the paperwork, and on which supporting documents you might need to send, so that your eventual submission stands the best possible chance of gaining approval.
Expect local authority turnarounds to be much faster if you suitably prepare a submission and provide all relevant information on the first presentation.
Documentation
Having gained approval for a home refurbishment, the architect completes any amendments to the drawings and the client signs a contract with their chosen builders and brickwork specialists. With the construction certificate in place, if one is needed, Eco Brickwork Ltd reviews the project with all key stakeholders to cover any last-minute changes to the design specification.
